The Seven Mile Journey
The Metamorphosis Project

all'ultimo piano con vista su New York di Godspeed You! Black Emperor e Red Sparowes. Suite come Identity Journals o January 4th
a Copacabana.

The Seven Mile Journey - The Metamorphosis Project (6tx CD, 52'11'' - Fonogram 'o8) - Whatever the direction is - in refer to the Band's monicker, it looks like The Seven Mile Journey are really into the chosen matter, and devoted to this music path, just like it's been Oscar Niemeyer who drawn each line of this plan. And, a little bit as the brasilian architect which had the chance to build from nothing new capitol Brasilia, without bound of any kind with pre-existing spaces and taking care only to observe firmly the omnipotent strenght of logic and aesthetics, on this release, it looks like these four Danish guys want to conceive ex-novo a sound platform, pure and uncontaminated, ready to follow the master walls as indicated by the architectural studies elaborated behind a window at last floor with view over the New York of Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Red Sparowes. Suites like Identity Journals or January 4th are truly flawless, as narrow streets in Brasilia, and They are like the result of infinitesimal calculus to value the ideal grade line to drip ascending and descending currents, unfailing as the concrete. - Each movement has got the perfect perspective to let go at the right moment pinhed ambients, sometimes more gloomy, - like aquatic majolicas and space shutters. The whole thing is pretty majestic, almost as a funeral monument (such so beautiful) by Eisenman. I feel ready to warmly suggest You a listen, - except done for the most of Brasilia citizens, that - as i read - it looks like They are afflicted by brasilite, that is a syndrome that hits all people suffering of space and accidental surprise with no chance to face that. Long life to the sand castles in Copacabana.
