The fine art of smash you hard, providing a six slapping. Elephant slapping. From hell.
Instrumental, post-HC, the Happy Hellephant Orchestra - Allegra Orchestrina Hellephant grills psychedelia on fuzz gear. What a blasting fire.
I must confess that when I've read their name as well as their songs titles I was about to make the same prejudicial mistake I made with The Flying Madonnas a decade ago. A different asset, but, welcome to the same art of not taking yourself too seriously, and of playing it fcking serious at the same time. Yeah, it's all about when the shit hits the fan (Ma: quando la merda arriva al ventilatore). That seeped acknowledge of who cares.
Four piece band from Monte Amiata, Tuscany, Italy, DIY record, a few years since their debut release Leviatano (which frankly I did not know), Allegra Orchestrina Hellephant are loaded with adrenaline and dissonance, fast pace, the catharsis of abrasive and killer bass/guitar chords pushed to the fore (Vecchie nuove - I played this song three times in a row on my first listen - their drummer goes wild here, - actually, their drummer is a Kali more than Ganesh - pick one among Fabrizio, Michele, Stefano, Isacco, - they run a low profile). They know how to have fun with songwriting dynamics, fat distortions and cavalcades (from Tepolini with love), just listen to the epic climaxes of (S)KAPPA!). My headphones were soaked soaring sound. Con quella cappa, skappa.
