Beh, quello che ha fatto la neo-indie Peteran
rec è stato furbo quanto gratuito. Ovvero, mettere online una compi di
30 gruppi indie, mp3 cadauno da scaricare gratuitamente. Ci voleva
tanto? Ok, mi direte che c'è myspace, e che su ogni homepage di
un'etichetta ci sono caterve di mp3 da scaricare, - cmq è la mossa
promozionale della Peteran
ha dato un carattere ufficiale al tutto facendo girare la voce, ed è
stata una buona scusa per approfondire questi incontri casuali. Ciò non
significa che - personalmente - mi piacciano tutti i gruppi nella
tracklist, anzi, però si salvano con forti speranze le ritmiche dance
pop accattivanti dei TheFanciful con Magic Games, i From Tropics With Love, rock&roll garage con una voce niente male, i Vancouver - addirittura esaltanti nel Loro crescendo britpop, sino ai più atipici: Bob Corn, freakkettone psichedelico di assoluto talento intimo, i Marlowe con Crowded Song, tra Devics e Midlake, - e poi i già elogiati Karin.. Gli Isabel at Sunset non sarebbero affatto male se io non avessi troppo pregiudizio sui fulminati dai Pavement. Aimée è l'unica Girl della compilation (che carenza cari indieani!), qui con un brano troppo smielato per i miei gusti, ma gli altri brani su myspace Le rendono più grazia. - Quindi, andate, scaricate, diffondete..

Well, what Peteran rec has done is smart as free.. I mean, You put online 30 free download mp3s of local (italian) indie Bands. It wasn't all that hard, - Labels should promote this kind of stuff more frequently.. Ok, You can say each label has got its own mp3s area, there's myspace, and blah blah blah, - anyway, Peteran made everything more official, and it's a good excuse to delve into more listenings from these musicians. That works with me, maybe with You too? - That doesn't mean i enjoyed each of these 30, but You can cross into some lucky founds as charming dance pop rythmics of TheFanciful with Magic Games, - From Tropics With Love, rock&roll garage with good rancid vocals, the Vancouver, - even exciting with a britpop crescendo, until more atypical numbers, as psychedlic freak Bob Corn, absolutely pure inner talent, - Marlowe with Crowded Song, between Devics and Midlake, and last but not least Karin, previously known here at komakino. I might spend some good words for Isabel at Sunset too, if i hadn't an heavy preconception for bands strucked by Pavement. - Aimée is the only Girl on this sampler (oh what a unlucky lack, dear indieans!), here with a too much cheesy pop song for me, - while at myspace You can hear more graceful tracks. - So, click, download, spread the word.
