Piroth young sisters are like Pony Up!'s swedish cousins, - that's first my impression. - Maybe because of Their genuine naive approach to this sort of indie-pop Music leaden by two female vocals, - clean sounds, haunting riffs and honest sentiments: something totally lovable, gentle and sincere.
They are like the next door mysterious two sisters You felt in love with when You were a teen and You used to think over and over again to what happened in Picnic at Hanging Rock.
Nostalgic and sweet at the same time (I will always be waiting, the potential and memorable hit and refrain When the night is over), frail and innocent (Television tower), danceable (Only for tonight), too, - Nina and Johanna duet harmonically with Their twin voices, fully celestial, through acoustic instruments, - guitars, piano, accordion, double bass, - also able of bucolic ballads (Trans-siberian express) and fragile guitar plus vocals folk melodies (Hurt little birds, as well as Irgendwo, sung in deutsch - i guess), - anyway there's also time for a wilder track like Theatre, with marching drums.
An emotive songwriting and an enviable pop sensibility make of Their Safe Haven a catchy piece of work, - atmospheric, a balance between being languid and pop chatarsis.

+++++
