Boy plus girl fantastic, - combat lo-fi two piece, bluesy garage 'n roll, that kind of lo-fi attitude that recently people and mags learnt to love The Black Lips for.
Actually, You should know that there is a valid underground dirty and spastic noise no-scene downhere in Rome | Italy, - and if we can't call it properly a scene, let's just say that there are some bands, their friends, friends of their friends, and a couple of small venues where they meet, set up live shows and sometimes play live too.. that comes out from this local collective seeing principally bands such as The Intellectuals, Hiroshima Rocks Around, Bobsleigh Baby, Ra&Ro (!), or also somehow The Last Wanks, Trouble Vs Glue / Dada Swing: some kind of Music i would describe as quirky, soul punk, 45rpm vynil sounds, Velvet Underground vs. The Mummies, The Frumpies vs. a spaghetti western movie.
A no-hope-for-happy-easy-money scene, yet, truly valid at the same time, and You know, so what.. that works.
So, that's where Capputtini'i Lignu come from, a 7'', released by the new born label Shit Music for Shit People. - And there's a line connecting Rome with France too, because the above mentioned wonder boy is a french genius called Cheb Samir (formerly with The Black Souls of Leviathan and bass player with The Normals, drummer for the Two Tears, just to cite a few off his CV), - unconventional drummer and guitarist at the same time (i mean, he does play drums and guitar together), singer, along with Cristina (vcls+gtr), from Sicily, both moved in Rome.
The four tracks are four gems, - rancid satured amps, reverb, poorly recorded raucous male/female vocals, two guitars playing simple but perfect out of tune chords, primordial: - Pee Song, sung by Cristina, sounds as a perfect indie hit, - like the western punk ride of Digging U a Hole, - that horse runs fast, intoxicated and drunken.
5€ to Shit Music for Shit People, and You'll get this.
// NOTE: currently on tour in Germany, check their website out.

+++++++++
