I Raveonettes sono stati la sorpresa di Enzimi fest a roma. Era il martedí scorso. Provenienti da Copenhagen, completamente noise e shoegaze, tra esplosioni distorte alla My Bloody Valentine e Jesus & Marychain. Guardando il singolo Beat City passato un paio di volte x sbaglio a mezzanotte su mtv ne ero già rimasto colpito, ma probabilmente quello è il Loro episodio + 'rock', perchè il live è stato completamente abrasivo nel muro di suoni e le voci gentili. Per il resto suonano come scappati dalla Creation rec. Il nucleo originale vede Sune Rose Wagner (chitarra+voce) e Sharin Foo (basso+voce), - accompagnati dal vivo da batteria e seconda chitarra. Davvero ottimi. Curioso di prendermi il cd (sin ora trovato a 2o euro.. cerco miglior offerente!), che ha una copertina da bikers veramente fuorviante! - Graçias a Stefano (degiacometti) per le foto!

Best episode at Enzimi festival in rome: on tuesday 7th, the Raveonettes; a surprise. Coming from Copenhagen, completly noisy and shoegaze, - between distorted explosions à la My Bloody Valentine and Jesus & Marychain. Watching on mtv the video of a latest single from Them, Beat City, (broadcasted at midnight just a few times, and then anymore..) i already was interested in Their Music, but i didn't focus the real coordinates, - because live performance has been utterly abrasive through the wall of sounds and gentle voices. - It's like They came from Creation rec. - Original core sees Sune Rose Wagner (gtr+voce) e Sharin Foo (bass+voce), - here with two friends at drums and guitar. I warmly suggest to look for more info around and get the CD.. - Thanks a lot to Stefano (degiacometti) for all these pictures.
