Playful folk, ambient and vocal experiments, homemade electronic music. These are the primal coordinates for this adventure recently undertaken by Mina e Martina, from Rome, Italy, - with their brief but not less pleasant debut work Let Children Be Children Again: five tracks always swinging between an instrumental/experimental dimension and a more pop-oriented side.
These two damsels, glockenspiel armed, plus groovebox, piano and acoustic guitar, go along a music background, under a constellation of names such as Air (the harmonies in Submarine), latest Mùm (Celtic Thoughts' limpid arpeggio) and avant referencies à là Laurie Anderson (the voices crossing in Submarine).
Five electro-acoustic portraits, strong of freshness and bucolic balance, but which, now and then, pay a tribute to a certain girlish naivety, especially in those episodes where vocals are to the fore.
Notwithstanding that, Let Children Be Children Again is for sure a good chance to make the point, and balance new flight paths, to take to the way for the sky, in a complete solitude.

not yet, probably nobody cares, or nobody cared enough to tell something. Also: nobody reads komakino.
