It's not the first time we review Mumblin' Caveman, and we also saw him performing live; now, his raw rock'n'roll glitters with a brand new release for Noisegames Records, a 45rpm, Right from the Cave.
The french guy from Montpellier starts with On My Own, and with a full one-man band spirit he starts over again: satured vocals, a killing mouth organ, bluesy guitar.. percussions able to shake you like a saucer in the middle of the perfect storm.
Sometimes it's hard to be alone; but not that bad.
The other side of the disc is all for That Ol' Country Town, a ballad in a perfect style à la The Blues Against Youth; our local beloved One Man Band, now making his followers through Europe.
What can I say more? Mumblin' Caveman is growing faster; we long to see him again downhere. The show is guaranteed; but beware... spitting rain down from the stage.
