1978, baby.
"Short 16mm film promo by Alex de Laszlo shot in New York City, in 1978", there were internet rumors it existed or less, when, finally, a couple of months ago it popped out, thanks to Paul Silver's Video Archives.
Of course, already covered by DangerousMinds.net, which speaks more deeply about it:
"The film was made for under $200 and featured Lux painfully transforming into a fly. This artefact is now so rare that even Lux and Ivy do not have a copy of the film." - From the 1990 book Wild Wild World of the Cramps, by Ian Johnston.
No spoiler needed, just enjoy this gem. Lov The Cramps.
I always love to get back and read again this interview with Lux and Poison Ivy, talking about how they fist met. So sweet. That was a real bond indeed.
