Highly lyrical, a perfect blend of poetic vocals - by Edgar A. Ruiz - and oneirc harmonies.
Album's title track and track The Boy, The Wolf & The Hill are two pure pieces of Beautiful Music, genuinely romantic and ecstatic. Something able, even with a barely lo-fi production - no place for fancy post-production -, to be memorable and growing more and more into the listener, thanks to its dream-like form of state.
Second full-release, debut on Aagoo records, Los Angeles based four-piece band Mind Monogram, with eight tracks (whose one short intro and one short instrumental bath-into-sound interlude), voluptuously hypnotic, rise gently to inner consciousness, with pop-hooks refrains such as Elephant Swing's one ('If you don't mind / I would love to tryYyyyyyYyyy..' - love that), as well as the sensuality tones of Real Slow: - mr. Ruiz is indeed an inspired singer. Final track The Giver, you simply wish it lasted more than 2:09 seconds... A whole tracklist to play over and over again. A good record indeed.
