Excellent five-piece from Boston and New York, - i bumped into Their
album after i heard They were coming to play some gigs downhere in
Italy, - and blame on me, - i was totally ignoring this amazing
full-lenght release - truly a revelation, - out a couple of years ago.
- Sort of concept album, a magic trascendental trip running along 10
tracks, a black painted mesmeric ride, on a path not far from being a
post-shoegaze zigzag line, where Sigur Rós meet Can meeting Clinic, - and ok, i know, that does not make much sense,
- with tribal drums, continuous hypnotic inventions, sciamanic guitars,
- i'm ready to bet You'll find Your-self totally possessed during the
listening. - While Legions loads Your blood with frenzy, Wind Through the Walls is like a cathartic elevation to the seventh sky, from where maybe You might admire the dark side of the moon
while a piano resounds. - This is a perfect soundtrack for Your
open-eyes imaginery, - Robert Toher's vocals are pure melody, perfectly
matching with the whole enchant. It is Music for You and Your bedroom
and close out everyone, - yet, it is Your music-guide to find Your own
spirit in a walk through the forest (Blackwood Gates). Music @ myspace/apse
