Lillayell
No, davvero
ripetuti ascolti tutto emerge lentemente.
__by VonoBox.

Lillayell [well, it's hard to tranlate.. let's have a go.. - k's note] Lillayell are a power rock&roll trio with glands gone mad, plus crying stains under armpits (i know that You can easily read things like that on Paolo Cohelo's books, - and that's not a secret it's Paolo Miceli after that). Noise, and how could do You name it differently: ultra long tracks with 25 changements each changement, and guitars such so sharpen that You can cut as nothing whatever You want. Believe me kids, listening to this album is just like to be at a Shogun showcase [famous mark of knives often on tv.. but probably You already know - k's note]. The whole arsenal of sonic riffs-erama (never known what is mean), and albini-an as never, all in their hands, - and They're even able to confuse it in a play of strenghts giving order and mess at the same time: now quietly trotting along gloomy 'post' roots, and then riding at a gallop through geographies suddenly changing in catastrophe. 8 songs of this album drive us through a devious trip, entropic, im_plosive. One only risk with this style is that this demostration of strenght could put aside the athletic splendor and its listener gets lost in simulations, - but through several listenings, everything rises up slowly. And at the end, You know that this 'rock' is son (if not a nephew) of cerebral swirling progressions of Rush and King Crimson, instead of out_of_tunes attacks à la Sonic Youth. A beautiful album indeed, and if You like italian noise Music, - don't miss it. __by VonoBox
