Cd che raccoglie ben 2o pezzi, materiale raro del periodo
1991/1993 uscito allora su Experience e Elefant Rec,
il tutto a firma Silvania,
Gruppo shoegaze spettacolare, passato per i + nell'anonimato
(tra cui, ammetto, io..), nonostante, - mi dicono, avessero ai tempi
andati molto seguito dagli affezionati. Suonano tra Jesus &
Marychain e Slowdive,
- Loro contemporanei, si può dire, - e quindi d'inclinazione
spontanea, musicalmente, non derivata, - inoltre ragazzi sono
portoghesi (avreste mai detto di una scena tale possibile in Portogallo?).
Diversi cambi di formazione, con nucleo al centro Mario e Coco'.
Le tracce non hanno un ordine cronologico, - pecca, - in ogni modo
quelle del '91 sono dei demo ambient estatici, pura trance, dove la
voce di Mario è solo uno sfogo serafico di
beatitudine, montato sull'ascensione luminosa delle chitarre.
L'ep del '92, Miel Nube Hiel, e l'album del '93, En Cielo
De Océano, sono la trasposizione nel Riverbero della Pioggia
(di chitarre), un'ondata di freschezza dall'alto (x un'idea, fate
parallelo con le onde di Morningrise di Neil & Co.),
una serie di nuvole veloci con il cielo in toni di viola. Una raccolta
che (fisicamente) cmq non abbonda certo di informazioni sul Gruppo,
- poche note sul booklet, - il tutto resta un pò misterioso,
- come a dire Ve li siete persi.. accontentateVi della Musica.
Che angoscia! - Se amate Secret Shine e i Sù citati.

Cd containing 2o tracks (!!), rarities coming from 1991/1993, at that time released through Experience and Elefant Rec, signed by Silvania, brilliant shoegaze Band, unfortunately lost in Oblivion (let me admit that i didn't know anything about Them.. shit..), notwithstanding, - as some friends told me - They have lots of warm following. They sound between Jesus & Marychain and Slowdive, contemporary, we can state, - so, Their attitude was natural, not derived, - moreover these folks are from Portugal (would You ever imagine about such a possible scene over there?). Several changes in line-up, but always with Mario and Coco' as nucleus. Here tracks are not in a chronological order, - pity, - anyway, ones of '91 are demos for bliss-out ambients, pure trance, where Mario's voice is just a seraphic need of Ecstasy, brought higher on brighter Ascension of guitars. 1992 EP, Miel Nube Hiel, and '93 album, En Cielo De Océano, are transcription in Reverb for Rain (a rain of guitars), waves of freshness (allow a parallel with Neil & Co's Morningrise), like blue clouds moving in a sky painted violet. - Unfortunately the booklet doesn't contain that few information about the Band, - a pity, - so everything stays mysterious, - as it wanted to say You missed Them.. so try to enjoy Their Music now, - that's all You can do. What a distress! - If You love Secret Shine and above mentioned friends.
