A Modern Safari ascoltandoli li ho trovati un pò sbiaditi, come
la foto di copertina del cd, in un certo modo: troppa acqua cheta in
un'estate
arida e secca, - peccano di ingenuità e bontà nello sforzo suggestivo
dei pezzi, passeggiate amabili, senza alti o bassi, e l'inglese
penzola un pò
sulla voce di lui. Mi hanno ricordato un altro gruppo nostrano, i Generosa
Gallina (leggi passata recensio), - stesso problema. Il cd viene a
noia,
e l'ascolto rischia l'avantiveloce. Distribuiti da Goodfellas.

Listening to A Modern Safari, i don't like them much, - kind of faded colours, like on the cover cd picture, in a certain way: too much still water in a dry & hot summer, - they lose in naivety and goodness on their evocative effort, somewhat loveble promenades, without ups and downs, and their english sung is somewhat faint, as regards me. They reminded me of another local band, Generosa Gallina (read past review), - same matter. Cd risks to be boring, and fast-forward button. Distributed by Goodfellas. [- Anyway, let me remind You this is a fanzine, that is my personal opinions and tastes.. please note..]
